Each NP has same day and next day appointments reserved in their schedule. Before going to a walk-in clinic, please call to see if there is an appointment available.
Clients are enrolled to the Lakeshore Community NPLC and not to an individual NP. It is expected that clients will see one NP on a regular basis, however you may be required to see alternative NPs within the clinic from time to time.
What do you need to bring to an appointment with your Nurse Practitioner?
- Health Card
- If you take prescription or over-the-counter medicines, including herbal remedies or vitamins, bring a list with you to your appointment
- A list of medications that need to be refilled
- Test results from another healthcare provider or hospital
- Date and location of x-rays, ultrasounds or other imaging in case the results have not been received yet
- A list of questions to have answered during the visit
